What happens during assessment?

A typical assessment at school usually looks like this:

Pre-assessment forms sent to parents and school by EP.

Parental consultation before assessment of child.

A visit to school to make an assessment of emotional, social skills, visual, spatial, verbal reasoning, processing and academic skills using the ‘British Abilities Scales 3’ GL Assessment.

Feedback and planning meeting to agree next steps and plan of action with school and family.

Detailed report sent 10 working days post assessment.
